El lunes 31 de marzo en el Auditorio Philadelphia se llevo a cabo la 22.ª edición de los International Certification Awards, una ceremonia que reconoció el esfuerzo y logro de estudiantes de Primaria, Secundaria y ex-alumnos en sus exámenes de certificación de inglés Cambridge.

La actividad se desarrolló en dos turnos: a las 1:10 p.m. participaron los estudiantes del Nivel Primaria, y a las 3:15 p.m. fue el turno del Nivel Secundaria. 

Durante el evento, se entregaron certificados de los exámenes Starters, Movers y Flyers en Primaria; y Flyers, KET, PET y FCE en Secundaria. Además, se reconoció públicamente a los estudiantes que destacaron con resultados de excelencia en sus respectivas pruebas internacionales.

El evento incluyó también la participación especial de la Srta. Susana Ojeda Huerta, exalumna de la Promoción 2011, actual Segunda Secretaria del Servicio Diplomático del Perú y Jefa de Asuntos Económicos y de Inversión en la Embajada del Perú en el Reino Unido. A través de un video enviado desde el extranjero, Susana compartió cómo el dominio del idioma inglés ha sido clave en su formación profesional y su carrera diplomática, inspirando a los estudiantes a aprovechar las oportunidades que ofrece nuestra institución en la formación académica tanto del idioma inglés como del idioma portugués. Del mismo modo contó la experiencia de su participación en el intercambio que se realizó con escuelas de Brasil, destacando la enseñanza del idioma portugués en el Colegio.

También se contó con la participación de Mia Mandriotti Córdova, estudiante de 1er. grado de secundaria quien obtuvo un excelente resultado en su examen de Flyers, además agradeció a sus maestras por su acompañamiento en este proceso y expresó emotivas palabras para su mamá quien es ex-alumna del Colegio.

Asimismo, Juan Diego Llanos Silva, alumno de 4.º B de Secundaria, fue reconocido por haber obtenido el puntaje más alto en las pruebas B2 de inglés (First for Schools), además de haber obtenido un puntaje de 113/120 en el examen de TOEFL. Durante la ceremonia, dirigió unas palabras a sus compañeros, alentándolos a perseverar en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés y a buscar la excelencia en el proceso de certificación.

La ceremonia no solo fue un momento de celebración académica, sino también de inspiración para toda la comunidad educativa, al resaltar el compromiso del colegio con el aprendizaje del idioma inglés y su proyección internacional.

Este reconocimiento forma parte del proceso formativo integral del colegio, que continúa apostando por brindar a sus estudiantes herramientas que los preparen para un mundo globalizado.

On Monday, March 31, the 22nd edition of the International Certification Awards took place at the Philadelphia Auditorium, a ceremony that recognized the effort and achievement of Primary and Secondary students, as well as alumni, in their Cambridge English certification exams.

The event was held in two sessions: at 1:10 p.m., Primary Level students participated, and at 3:15 p.m., it was the turn of the Secondary Level.

During the ceremony, certificates were awarded for the Starters, Movers, and Flyers exams at the Primary Level, and for Flyers, KET, PET, and FCE at the Secondary Level. In addition, students who achieved outstanding results in their international exams were publicly recognized.

The event also featured a special participation by Ms. Susana Ojeda Huerta, former student of the Class of 2011, currently serving as Second Secretary of the Diplomatic Service of Peru and Head of Economic and Investment Affairs at the Embassy of Peru in the United Kingdom. Through a video sent from abroad, Susana shared how proficiency in English has been key in her professional development and diplomatic career, inspiring students to take advantage of the opportunities our institution offers in the academic formation of both the English and Portuguese languages. She also recounted her experience participating in a student exchange with schools in Brazil, highlighting the importance of Portuguese language instruction at our school.

Another special moment was the participation of Mia Mandriotti Córdova, a first-year secondary student who achieved an excellent result on her Flyers exam. She expressed her gratitude to her teachers for their support throughout the process and shared heartfelt words for her mother, who is also a former student of our school.
